The main objective of the project was to preserve the overall image of the existing town hall. While the surrounding urban space has undergone a radical transformation, due to the construction of the new commercial zone, the town hall has been preserved as a historical reference point. The projected entrance marks the original entrance point and the historic square. The creation of a new square and the work on the rear facade of the building leads to its dual orientation, therefore serving as a structural link with the city center.
