As the first joint diplomatic representation to be set up, the future Franco-German embassy in Mozambique represented a fundamental and emblematic step for two major states of the European Union. A 'laboratory' for pooling procedures, regulations, technological and security points of view, this new building had to meet the precise challenges related to the strong constraints of the site chosen in Maputo, as well as to the multiple expectations of diplomacy. The project has not been completed yet due to site constraints.
