Since June 2015, the Goethe Institute resides once again in the villa on the corner of Rue de Sénégal and Rue de Madagascar, close to the center of Tunis. Our agency was in charge of its complete renovation, earthquake proofing and extension, to include four additional classrooms. During the long years of vacancy, the building was significantly degraded. Thus, the renovation was focused on the interior and exterior, with the treatment of the facades and their ornamentation, mainly using the white color. The garden has also been redesigned taking into account the existing vegetation.

The project has been published in 'Bau und Raum 2015'.
