Our agency has been entrusted with the complete renovation of the Goethe Institute in Nancy. The roof of the main building was entirely reconstructed and the architectural ensemble was brought up to accessibility standards. The ensemble, a mansion situated on Ravinelle Street, is representative of the middle-class houses built in the second half of the 19th century in Nancy. The integrity of the architectural complex, consisting of the house and its interior ornamentation (rich in many elements of Art Nouveau), as well as the park (drawn and planted in 1873), have been scrupulously respected.
The project has been published in 'Bau und Raum 2017'.
