A few steps away from the public park, the Goethe Institute is created inside of a 19th century mansion, which was later extended to the inner courtyard at the back of the plot. Our main purpose, other than responding to the requirements of space and function of a cultural center, was to give coherence to the building. The preservation of historical rooms, the enhancement of circulation areas and their utilization are accompanied by simple installations and noble and natural materials. The sobriety and the quality of the space lead to its obvious comprehension.
