An old farmhouse had to be renovated and equipped with modern furniture. We have decided to preserve authentic building elements such as the natural stone walls, the wooden trusses and the tiled roofs. For the vertical access, we designed a staircase between two reinforced concrete slabs. Between the basement and the ground floor, a reinforced concrete ceiling has been installed, which allows the building to support and accommodate a large part of the technical networks. The attic has been converted into bedrooms, which are grouped around the new staircase. The facades and roofs were left in their original state to preserve the charm of the old building, well integrated in the small village.
