As part of the grouping of the services of the French Embassy in Budapest, the consular service and the management service Embassy had to be relocated to the Pedrazzini space of the French Institute. The work carried out involves the creation of an intermediate floor occupied by office spaces, the adaptation of openings on the 1st and 2nd floors and the creation of a metal staircase. The premises of the French Institute have been kept in their current configuration. Safety and accessibility regulations have been applied to the new spaces created. Our architectural approach has been to complement the existing architecture with a clear and sober architecture, which allows mutual enhancement. Sober materials weave a delicate design in response to the richness and variety already present on site.
